Source & editorial notes
This is the internal review companion to the grayscale prototype. It is not a public website page.
Source and scope
Primary source: the complete v1.1 text attached by the user, revised October 7, 2026. Drive search did not locate this blueprint. The attachment is used as the supplied authority.
The SFAI page carries forward the complete section available from the preceding blueprint in Website Blueprint Writing. The required first FAQ sentence comes from that chat’s original brief.
Review decisions and gaps
- Headlines, supporting copy and section order follow v1.1. Structural labels are omitted from visitor copy.
- The homepage gives the three development programs substantial, parallel sections.
- Media treatments appear as labeled placeholders. No imagery, logos, colors or branding have been added.
- Planning qualifications remain visible even when internal notes are hidden.
- The SAF process list uses “Development work includes:” in place of its editorial introduction. The BEST/SBI section uses existing approved general copy in place of private strategy.
- News entries and resource downloads await approved source material.
- The inherited full FAQ list and Contact page are unavailable. Their gaps are marked; contact fields are a proposed layout.
- Footer links are a minimal prototype convention; no legal text or contact information has been invented.
- Internal notes may contain commercially sensitive strategy. Hiding notes is a review convenience, not access control. This package is for internal review.
Reading the prototype
Large headings identify the visitor message; solid bordered buttons are calls to action; dashed panels are future media; expandable blocks hold FAQs; small ruled text contains public qualifications; double-rule gray boxes are internal notes.
1. Site Objective
The BEST website should establish Brown Energy Solutions as a developer and integrator of distributed energy systems and advanced energy technologies, with HyEn+ as its principal distributed-energy platform and Small Footprint AI as its flagship current initiative.
The immediate catalyst for rebuilding the website remains Small Footprint AI, but BEST must not appear to be merely a data-center company.
The broader BEST development story now has three clearly identifiable areas:
Distributed Power HyEn+ and Small Footprint AI
Energy production located close to the point of use, with SFAI demonstrating how on-site generation can support distributed AI infrastructure.
Deployable Power Ethanol Hydrogen Mobile Power Platform, EHMPP
Relocatable, grid-independent electrical generation based on ethanol-to-hydrogen conversion and solid oxide fuel cells.
Advanced Fuels BEST/SBI Sustainable Aviation Fuel Development
Development of a repeatable commercial pathway for producing sustainable aviation fuel from municipal-solid-waste-derived materials or feedstocks.
These are related expressions of the same larger BEST thesis:
Produce useful energy where it is needed, using practical transportable or waste-derived feedstocks while reducing dependence on conventional grid and fuel-delivery infrastructure.
The website is not expected to close a complex infrastructure transaction online. Its principal job is to make a sophisticated visitor conclude:
These people understand the problem, have credible technology and development programs, know how to integrate systems, and are worth meeting.
2. Primary Audiences
The site speaks principally to:
- Communities and members of the public concerned about hyperscale data-center development.
- Public officials, economic-development organizations and policymakers evaluating energy and infrastructure development.
- Companies that may participate in the Small Footprint AI Coalition.
- Data-center and AI infrastructure developers.
- Companies and organizations requiring distributed or deployable power.
- Industrial, infrastructure and fuel-sector participants interested in hydrogen or advanced-fuels development.
- Potential technical, commercial and financial partners.
The website does not need to close the developer transaction.
Its job is to establish credibility and earn the meeting.
3. Global Site Architecture
Primary Navigation
- Home
- Small Footprint AI
- HyEn+
- Applications
- News & Validation
- About BEST
- FAQ
- Contact
The primary navigation remains unchanged.
Secondary Capability Pages
Applications should support substantive deeper pages for:
Distributed Power HyEn+, Small Footprint AI, industrial hydrogen and cogeneration.
Deployable Power EHMPP.
Advanced Fuels BEST/SBI sustainable aviation fuel development.
These pages do not initially require separate primary-navigation positions. They should be accessible through Home, Applications, contextual links and search.
Secondary / Utility Navigation
Professional Resources
Professional Resources remains deliberately less prominent than the principal public-facing navigation.
Persistent Primary CTA
Start a Conversation
4. Global Visual Language
The visual identity should communicate:
compact infrastructure + advanced energy + practical engineering + community compatibility
The site should not look like:
- a generic hydrogen startup
- a hyperscale data-center company
- a solar installer
- a fuel-cell manufacturer
- an AI software company
- a waste-management company
- a conventional mobile-generator company
- a speculative clean-tech laboratory
Core Visual Motif: The Container
The shipping-container element already incorporated into the BEST logo should become an intentional recurring design element.
It communicates:
- compact footprint
- modularity
- transportability
- relocatability
- infrastructure rather than laboratory technology
- HyEn+ as an integrated physical system
- EHMPP as deployable infrastructure
The container silhouette can appear in diagrams, section transitions, animations, icons and footprint comparisons without becoming a gimmick.
Feedstock as Infrastructure
Another recurring visual theme should be that energy can arrive in forms other than wires and pipelines.
Examples:
- ethanol delivered to a site
- municipal waste becoming useful feedstock
- containers containing conversion equipment
- localized production of hydrogen
- localized production of electricity
This reinforces the larger BEST philosophy without requiring a technical explanation every time.
5. Global Message Hierarchy
The visitor should gradually understand six ideas.
Level 1: Infrastructure Can Be Designed Differently
Large centralized systems are not the only way to provide computing power, electrical generation or advanced fuels.
Level 2: Energy Can Be Produced Near the Point of Use
BEST develops systems intended to convert practical feedstocks into useful energy close to where that energy is required.
Level 3: Small Footprint AI
AI infrastructure designed to fit the community.
Distributed AI. On-site power. Small footprint.
Level 4: HyEn+
HyEn+ is BEST's principal integrated distributed-energy platform built around SBI BioEnergy's Gölu-H2 ethanol-to-hydrogen conversion technology.
Level 5: The Platform Extends Beyond Permanent Installations
EHMPP applies the underlying ethanol-to-hydrogen and fuel-cell architecture to relocatable electrical generation.
Level 6: BEST and SBI Are Also Developing Advanced Fuels
BEST and SBI are actively developing a sustainable aviation fuel pathway using municipal-solid-waste-derived materials or feedstocks.
This is not a search for whether the chemistry works.
It is engineering work intended to make an established chemical pathway repeatable, consistent and commercially useful.

28. FINAL SITE NARRATIVE
If a visitor reads only the major headlines and introductory copy, the website should now communicate this larger story:
Brown Energy Solutions develops energy infrastructure around where energy is needed.
Its flagship Small Footprint AI Initiative proposes an alternative to hyperscale-only AI development:
AI infrastructure designed to fit the community.
Distributed AI. On-site power. Small footprint.
HyEn+ provides the principal distributed-energy platform, using SBI BioEnergy's Gölu-H2 technology to convert ethanol into hydrogen-rich fuel for useful energy applications.
The same underlying architecture can be adapted into EHMPP:
Bring ethanol to the deployment site. Produce hydrogen there. Convert it into electricity there. Move the infrastructure when the need moves.
BEST and SBI are also developing an advanced-fuels pathway capable of converting municipal-waste-derived feedstocks into sustainable aviation fuel.
That work is not an attempt to discover whether the chemistry is possible.
It is the engineering work required to make an established chemical pathway repeatable, consistent and commercially useful.
Together, the three development areas define BEST more completely:
Distributed Power
HyEn+ and Small Footprint AI
Deployable Power
EHMPP
Advanced Fuels
BEST/SBI municipal-waste-derived sustainable aviation fuel
The applications are different.
The underlying philosophy is consistent:
Use practical feedstocks. Convert them close to where useful energy is required. Integrate the technologies into complete systems. Reduce dependence on conventional infrastructure where a better architecture is possible.
